After a nice gap up and push higher on Monday, equites consolidated for a few days drifting slightly lower. Friday saw a decent selloff, but it was short lived and stocks rallied back into the close.

The Week Ahead

For econ data the jobs report is Friday. Markets are set to open in a few hours and there has been a steady flow of not so good news over the weekend regarding Tariffs, but nothing horribly bad. We will see how markets react. One thing is for sure. Any news that comes out that is bad is generally walked back pretty quickly so it's a 'Boy that Cried Wolf' theme in place.
