Weekly Performance Update: Week of 6/16/25

Market Recap

Definitely a week of uncertainty, with the markets waiting on clarity as to whether or not the US will become directly involved in the Israel/Iran conflict. We posted on Twitter that the last several weeks have been some of the worst for realized price action in several years, with this past week being top of the heap. Of course this excludes Holiday Weeks and there were some very low volume weeks back in early February of this year as well.

Bottom line and as shown below, paltry price action across the board. Indexes and VIX relatively unchanged.

The Week Ahead

Nothing major on the Econ front, but GDP did start to come to life last month as a viable trade potential for Futures Focus. Market will wait on clarity around the Middle East outcome.
