Markets moved higher the week in the face of the Government Shutdown. A good part of this can be attributed to that this will be resolved and there was EOM and EOQ price action, as investors positioned to start the new quarter.

The Week Ahead

Tech (QQQ) was a bit weak on Friday but Small Caps (IWM) was rather strong. This could simply mean some shorter term re-allocation, but the market remains resilient for the most part and continues to shake off any bad news. This will remain the case until it doesn't. Quiet week ahead for Econ Data so more true price discovery should take place.
